The Mentoring Young Women in Media Scheme (MYWIMS) this is a dedicated program to provide guidance, resources, and networking opportunities for aspiring female media professional. The program designed to support and empower young women in the media industry.

The core purpose is consistent: to provide mentorship, training, and networking opportunities to help women advance their careers.

​Key aspects of these types of programs often include:

​Mentorship: Pairing young women with experienced professionals in the media industry who serve as mentors. This provides one-on-one guidance, advice, and a safe space to discuss career goals, challenges, and aspirations. 

​Skill Development: Offering workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance practical skills, leadership abilities, and professional competencies. This can cover a wide range of topics, from technical skills to navigating workplace dynamics.

​Networking: Creating a community where mentees can connect with their peers and with established professionals. This fosters collaboration, builds valuable relationships, and provides a support system for career growth.
